Holly Anne Shelowitz is a Board Certified Nutrition Counselor and a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition's Professional Training Program in Manhattan. She is the owner/director of Nourishing Wisdom; an organization that teaches nutrition programs, cooking classes and workshops to support and educate clients to create a relationship with food that supports their true health and well being. Holly is the creator of the Amish Farm Buying Club.
Holly and Jennifer's Nourishing Wisdom Counseling Programs have a unique approach to nutrition by helping clients integrate new ways and thinking about food. Their programs help clients understand the relationship between well being and food and lifestyle choices. This is not done with fad diet techniques or unbearable restrictions and deprivation. Instead, clients learn simple ways to add wholesome, nutrient dense foods into their diets, and cultivate a clear sense of the quantities and portions that suit their needs. Then they naturally make better food choices not just in the short term, but for life. Their nutrition programs are offered in person and by telephone, as well as on site at the workplace, with organizations and schools. Their passion for access to high quality food led them to create buying clubs for the community as a way to purchase organic food at reasonable prices.
